Software Defined Radio¶

mediatronix develops software defined radio hardware and software. The tools are used to monitor wireless communications. One of the applications is monitoring wireless sensor networks like MyriaNed. Other appplications are spectrum analysis, RFID performance, and telecom and broadcast.

Details¶

It uses a USB and FPGA based RF front-end that preselects the center frequency and sample-rate. A high-speed USB connection supplies the raw samples. The PC software does the rest, like filtering, demodulation, decoding, etc.

Runs on Ubuntu, uses GNURadio sources to connect many SDR devices.
